MY BIO

My name is George Heimbuch III and I love to fish.  I love the outdoors and being on the water.  There is not better place to be!!!!!

My job is being a computer geek and my passions are Fishing and hockey.

I started fishing when I was just a couple of months old.  Honest! Or at least that what the picture my parents have of me will lead you to believe.  A fishing pole sticking out of my stroller on the shores of Lake Michigan.  Even if that does not count, I have been fishing for as long as I can remember.  My first memories of my own are fishing with my father, grandfather, and uncle fishing for perch and panfish.

I grew up in Marinette, WI.  With the Menominee river within walking distance.  And walk it I often did.  One summer I remember, I would get up early in the morning fish for an hour or two, do my morning paper route, fish for 6 or 8 hours more, do my afternoon paper route and the back to the river for more fishing.

When I grew up....well got older at least.  I had a few years where I did not fish much.  Then in 1990 I got my first boat of my own.  And since then my love for fishing has only grown.  Working full time, I still found time to be in the water, in my best years, 120-130 days a year.  And even can say I have fished in my boat every calendar month of the year... This IS Wisconsin we are talking about.  I have been trolling walleye and had the river starting to freeze while I doing it.

I enjoy fishing for many reasons: I enjoy being outdoors, I enjoy being on the water, I enjoy the challenge of finding what the fish want, I enjoy the challenge of new waters to fish, I enjoy the excitement of having a Salmon double header while trolling in 4 foot waves or having a huge musky follow and then hit,  I enjoy the serenity of a full moon night in mid August.

I have spent many days on the water fishing alone.  The last couple of years I have been looking for people to take fishing with me to share the experience and add the new challenge of getting them to catch fish.  This is what prompted me to become a guide.

That is the short of who I am and why I guide.

If you love the whole experience of fishing, especially if you have a new challenge for me, drop me a line and let's go fishing!!!!!!!
